Goal Recap and Updated Progress

Goal Recap:

Updated progress listed in red

List:

-Bootcuffs for Mom (Christmas Eve) One complete except finishing work the other just cast on
-Bootcuffs for Hannah (Christmas) Complete except finishing work but now being gifted to Mom as well (turns out Hannah doesn't wear boots ever)
-Headband for Mary (Christmas) Complete except finishing work (another one in progress now too)
-Sweater for Mary (Christmas) Complete except finishing work
-Snowmobile Scarf for Rick (Christmas) Complete except finishing work and fringe
-Sweater for Desmond (asap) Complete except bind off and finishing work. But I've finally admitted that it's too small for him; it will have to be gifted to the next baby in the family and a new sweater (size 4T this time) for Desmond will be cast on soon (March birthday gift?)
-Mitts for Michael (asap) Complete except finishing work on one mitt (the other one Complete) Not sure when I'll be sending these now?
-Pink Wristwarmers for Magz (New Years Eve) Complete except finishing work (but slightly lost at the moment)

Bonus:

-Scarf-That-Never-Ends for Tina (?) Still haven't frogged failed scarf for yarn for this project
-Ruffle Scarf for Aunt Debbie (Christmas Eve) In progress. Not sure if I like it still... maybe 70% done.
-Mini Enterprise for Seth (Christmas) Not even started.

Goal: Complete as much as possible before Christmas/other deadlines

Note to Self

Note to Self: You actually must knit to succeed in your knitting goal.

A whole day passed with no knitting progress made. I did resist the urge to cast on new projects and buy more yarn - though only just. (Seriously I may have a problem)
First priority right now is finishing Mom's boot cuffs (one cuff is about an inch or two in, the other one isn't cast on yet) and then trying to squeeze in knitting one of those ruffly scarves for my Aunt Debbie.
I'm not sure if I should even bother trying for the scarf though... I'm still going back and forth on whether I can get it done or it'll just be a waste of time which will cut into my other knitting time. That ruffle yarn is very fiddly...

Launch! and Lofty Goals

Here I am: Launching the documentation of my knitting adventures!

It's nearing Christmas, and it should be obvious from the name of this blog that I tend to procrastinate. So, it shouldn't be a surprise to find out that I have a nice long list of knitted Christmas presents which are not yet complete.

List:

-Bootcuffs for Mom (Christmas Eve)
-Bootcuffs for Hannah (Christmas)
-Headband for Mary (Christmas)
-Sweater for Mary (Christmas)
-Snowmobile Scarf for Rick (Christmas)
-Sweater for Desmond (asap)

Bonus:

-Scarf-That-Never-Ends for Tina (?)
-Ruffle Scarf for Aunt Debbie (Christmas Eve)
-Mini Enterprise for Seth (Christmas)

Note to self: I also have to find time to wrap all of the Christmas presents still...
